Star Platinum

This is what I've been working on since...a week ago. I basically liked this toy so much, that I couldn't get it out of my head ([link] at the end of the video) and I just want it.

I decided to give it a shot, and design something. I didn't have many reference images, as it only appears a few seconds on the video, and other toys don't look the same. So that's the result (see Img 1)

You may say "but it doesn't look that bad" However, I really...didn't like it... not because it might not look good on paper, but because it just doesn't feel right, the face is not even similar to the character, and to be honest...I didn't put much effort to the body. (see Img 2)

After a few days of convincing myself that designing robots was more my thing, (cubic figures and shiny squary armors), I still wanted to make a papercraft out of it, so Today I realized that the body of Star Platinum is exactly the same as the Human body (I'm retarded for not noticing that before. I know.) After studying it a bit, I drew some blueprints (see mad drawing skills on Img 3) and now I'm starting to put a little bit more effort into it.

Overall, I think it's not going to look exactly the same (see img 4) but maybe someday, somewhere, someone will look at my work and say "hey I can do much better than that" and we will all have a nice looking model that we can all enjoy building, and it'll be the happiest day ever! Ok, I'm sorry, It's 3:43 am already, and I didn't even notice it was so late
